How does the system decide when to activate?

Blaze Guardian escalates in stages rather than jumping straight to suppression. Our proprietary software uses predictive modeling and corroborates information from on-property sensors, allowing for a precision response beyond whether a fire exists somewhere in the region. When activated, the system moves to a fixed safety countdown you can interrupt, and escalates to full automated defense when the threat is confirmed at your property.

Is the fire suppressant safe for people, pets, and landscaping?

Yes. Blaze Guardian uses a non-toxic, PFAS-free and biodegradable suppressant blended with water at a controlled ratio through the system's own mixing hardware. It's formulated to be safe for use around plants and animals, and is even safe for use on food preparation surfaces! The suppressant breaks down and rinses off with the next rain event, or is easily washed off with municipal water.

Each Blaze Guardian system today protects an individual property, however community-level defense provides a greater chance of wildfire resilience. We can work directly with HOAs or groups of neighbors for multi-home defense, and shared, community-wide infrastructure.
